When are items despatched?

At the heart of Miss Lemon’s Academy is empowerment, and not just empowering the wearer. We also believe in empowering the maker and put as much thought and care into making the pieces as you do in selecting the right talisman. 

 

Call us old fashioned, but the idea of cranking out pieces to create a stock to sell online doesn’t sit well with our values of upholding a thoughtful making process.

Therefore all our pieces - except for any samples and seconds - are made to order. Please allow one week for the making process. Once the order is made, we'll notify you and confirm the despatch details. 

​

Completed orders are usually despatched once a week, on a Friday. If there are any variations to this we'll let you know.

What is the postage method in the UK?

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked so you can trace the delivery times. No signature is required, and in the majority of cases the packages are small enough to fit through your letterbox.

​

Where else do you ship?

At present we only ship to the UK (including Northern Ireland).

Delivery costs

We have four delivery options.

 

Standard postage and packing (UK only): FREE

Delivered via the Royal Mail Tracked 48, please allow 3-5 business days for delivery once we have notified you of despatch. Products sent in this way will come individually packaged in glassine envelopes within a bubble-wrap envelope. This helps us keep postage costs down.

 

Priority postage with standard gift wrapping: £4.00 (UK only)

Delivered via Royal Mail Tracked 24, please allow 1-2 business days for delivery once we have notified you of despatch. Products sent in this way will come packaged in recyclable pillow boxes wrapped with a Miss Lemon's Academy ribbon. You can add a gift message at the checkout - even if it's one to yourself!

Priority postage with premium gift wrapping: £6.00 (UK only)

Delivered via Royal Mail Tracked 24 , please allow 1-2 business days for delivery once we have notified you of despatch. Products sent in this way will come packaged in recyclable gift boxes wrapped with a Miss Lemon's Academy ribbon. Orders over £75 (UK only): FREE

All orders over £75 are delivered free of charge by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Please allow 1-2 business days for delivery once we have notified you of despatch. Products sent in this way will come packaged in recyclable gift boxes wrapped with a Miss Lemon's Academy ribbon. You can add a gift message at the checkout - even if it's one to yourself!

Can I track my order?

Yes! When we have dispatched your order, you will receive an email which includes the tracking details.

 

Does my order need to be signed for?

Items shipped by Royal Mail Tracked do not need to be signed for. In the majority of cases, the package is small enough to be posted through your letterbox.

 

I've not received my item - what happens now?

We get that sometimes, for reasons beyond our control, items are delayed or lost in transit. If you've not received your package within 10 days of despatch please get in touch (quoting your order number) and we'll do our best to help.
